Join us for an advanced session on brush lettering. This two-hour workshop has two parts:

In the first hour, the instructor will guide you through the techniques for adding flair to your regular cursive lettering. You will learn when it is appropriate and how to add swirls on uppercase and lowercase letters. With constant practice, you will be able to train your eyes and hands to create smooth curves. Learning how to do flourishing is a great technique to fill out all blank spaces and add a stylish character to your letters.

In the second hour, the blending workshop will teach you various techniques on how to creatively combine colors using regular brush pens directly, or using a special blender pen & blending palette. Find out which colors blend well, create the ombré effect, combine bold colors, practice different styles, add dimension & style to your lettering, and give an added flair to your regular calligraphy!

Each attendee leaves with a hand-prepared kit which includes:
• Tombow blending pen
• Mister spray
• Worksheets for flourishing
