Candle Holders in Clay

Create a selection of elegant candle holders for your home using white clay with gold and silver accents.

Every participant will receive 6 long candles and 6 tea lights to create their own designs.

Participants will learn 3 techniques, including slab designs, pinch pot hand molding, and coils to create their unique masterpieces.

This 2-hour workshop will commence with a demonstration on all 3 techniques, including how to join clay using a score and slip method. Then, some time to draw out designs and finally create the pieces.

About The Instructor:
Kay Bathke is an artist and educator from London, England. She is the owner of Dubai based art company Camden Creative Arts, specialising in art classes, workshops and events. With a passion for abstract art and mark-making skills, Kay works with experimental materials and techniques to create unique and inspiring artworks that are both beautiful for the home and relaxing to create.
