The workshop will teach the principles of costume design through explaining the importance of costume design in theater plays, teaching main principles regarding the design process, and putting that into practical experiences in order to create a costume design drawing for a specific character.

The participants will learn:
- the importance of costume design in theater plays.
- The Principles of analyzing story and characters in theater plays.
- Practical experience in designing a costume for a chosen theater character. 
- A discussion about the designs created through the workshop from other participants.
- A final design drawings for a costume design created by each participant.

Yasmine is a Syrian scenographer and scriptwriter residing in Dubai, she has graduated from the higher institute of dramatic art in (Damascus - Syria/ 2010), with over 10 years of experience in (costume design, scenic design, puppetry...) she is now working in her own projects and sharing her experience through workshops in UAE.
