This workshop will give you information on different artists that specialize in block printing methods and show a range of approaches to creating prints. You will create your own unique linocut design and use this to produce a series of prints. We will explore color theory and color combinations. This is a mixed-media workshop and the final prints to take home will be on paper, card, and fabric.

About The Instructor:
Kay Bathke is an artist and educator from London, England. She is the owner of Dubai-based art company Camden Creative Arts, specializing in art classes, workshops and events. With a passion for abstract art and mark-making skills, Kay works with experimental materials and techniques to create unique and inspiring artworks that are both beautiful for the home and relaxing to create.
