During this mindful workshop, learn to use a range of techniques to create a beautiful piece of textured art on canvas. An initial introduction with examples of the artworks will be followed by a demonstration. Attendees will experiment with design ideas and the different techniques that can be used to create texture in art. With a ready to hang canvas, flexible plaster material and range of tools you will then create a unique and beautiful interior design piece to take home. Designs can range from simple and bold to more intricate patterns, with guidance given throughout to help you create the finished piece. You would be working on a 40 x 50 cm size artwork.

About The Instructor:
Kay Bathke is an artist and educator from London, England. She is the owner of Dubai based art company Camden Creative Arts, specialising in art classes, workshops and events. With a passion for abstract art and mark-making skills, Kay works with experimental materials and techniques to create unique and inspiring artworks that are both beautiful for the home and relaxing to create.
